Meg is watching the Great Courses:  Early American History for her history learning this year.  I am in the process of supplementing this course with living books.  I will add as time permits.  Caveat:  This list is from Carolyn Hatcher's Let the Authors Speak, Wittmann's For the Love of Literature and other resources.  I cannot personally recommend any of these titles.  Pre-read for your children when at all possible!
