Marie turns five on September 8, Our Lady's Birthday! :)
I plan on splitting kindergarten into two years with her (unless she demands more) so we can enjoy and ease into a learning routine with her. Less is more at this age. I plan on using my Mother of Divine Grace kindergarten syllabus for inspiration, as well.
- Religion: Just Like Mary, The Mass Book for Children, The Beatitudes for Children, A Year With God, Catholic Children's Treasure Box, living books (Catholic Mosaic), lives of the saints, weekly Mass attendance, family Rosary and prayers.
- Phonics: Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons
- Math: Continue working in herMath-U-See Primer
- Poetry: Harp and Laurel Wreath--selections indicated in MODG syllabi
- Reading/Literature: Five in a Row, Volume 2
- Art/Music: Discover Great Artists, Music Masters CD
