I am trying to reorganize my iPhoto library.  It is a mess.  I was looking at some photos from two years ago and came across this one of Rose holding baby Joseph...ooohh...I could just eat him up...he was sooo cute!  Babies are such a glimpse into heaven.

Wordless Wednesday: Mischief-Maker at 16 months!

15 months old!

Baby (Toddler) Joseph is a very busy little guy. I had to share what I found the other day when I left to go put a load of laundry away (and after I had cleaned the kitchen and left it neat with a sigh of satisfaction!).

He is a mischief-maker! :)

And he yearns to get on the computer and play those games with his big brother and sisters!

Oh, he is the cutest baby in the world--look at him go! He just insists on keeping up with the big kids...sniff, sniff!

Phonics at 11 months?

We got the Word Whammer a few years ago for Rose and Paul to play with while I cooked dinner. The kids really like it (it connects magnetically to the fridge--handy!)and I sometimes have them spell out short words and drill phonics while I cook or clean up the kitchen. Little Joseph, at the precocious age of 11 months, is enamored with the Whammer. I just finished putting new batteries in it (it had been silent for way too long!) and for a brief moment in time, my sweet baby stopped pulling pots and pans out from the cabinets--he forgot all about how much fun it is to throw sippy lids to and fro--he actually played with a toy! And better yet, his big 3 year old sister, Marie, showed some interest in it (of course!) and learned a few new sounds today. I really like a lot of the Leap Frog products, though I wish they would find less twaddly book titles for their Leap Pad. We don't use ours much for this reason.

How to measure your baby's feet...

in 3 EASY steps? There is NO way to do that--hahahahha.

I'd like to see one 9 month old who will stand still and line their chubby little heel up on a piece of paper. Nope, after about five minutes of frustration, I realized the folly of trying to attempt a foot measurement alone. This was a two-man job--I recruited Meg, my trusty aide, and we managed to sort of line up baby Joseph's heel with the cute little bumble bee line... Anyways, we got a ballpark measurement and I promptly ordered these in the 6-12 month size. I know they will fit my wiggly little Joseph but am praying it is for longer than a month! :S

The fall weather is here and his tootsies were getting cold--plus he is getting close to walking--can you believe it? Sniff...sniff...

My Sweet Pea

Eight months old!

Baby Joseph turned 8 months old yesterday. His latest milestone is trying to climb on the brick fireplace.
God decided to finally bless me with a baby with early motor skills. He crawled at five months, pulled up at 6.5 months and at eight months is beginning to cruise. He can stand alone for brief moments, quite proudly, I might add! He is also the owner of 4 choppers (two top and two bottom). I am sorry to say that he likes to use me as his own personal human teething toy--but I am trying to get him used to his wooden teething rattle...;)

Time flies.

Bouncing Baby Turns 6 months old!

Baby Joseph thoroughly enjoys his "new" jumper--actually a loaner from a dear friend. This is the kind of toy that is great for that 2 month window in a baby's life...it's terrific to have it in the kitchen...I can do my mundane kitchen chores with live entertainment! :) It may also come in handy for my next home improvement project--painting the kitchen!
