Little Joseph is growing! We had our two week check-up at the pediatrician's yesterday and he was a record breaker! He had gained 2 lbs 1 oz since his birth! :) My doctor couldn't remember a baby gaining that much by their two week check in quite some time! He also smiled for the first time yesterday morning. It was fleeting--but it was a smile. He is so loved and cherished by us all that he had to show his appreciation--we are anxiously awaiting his next grin as we slowly ease back into our routine. This week we are hoping to add one more subject back into the mix--last week, we did math and the older kids read independently. This week we're hoping to do more read alouds. Next week, we will begin a little unit study on holy icons in preparation for Lent and Easter. I hope to post more on this later!
